Key Personnel: Judith Schwab, “Women Collared for Work”

Judith Schwab will have primary responsibility for the entire substantive content of the exhibit. Ms. Schwab, as freelance curator, is a highly experienced professional artist with broad based experience in art exhibition, art education, research, and international exchange. Ms. Schwab will determine the artists and artistic works to be loaned for the exhibit, providing complete documentation for all works, description, condition, and provenance. She will be the primary contact for all the other artists on issues such as scheduling, exhibit design, educational outreach, marketing, catalogues and supplementary materials. She will provide overall support to the exhibit team, ensuring that the exhibit is a cohesive and meaningful substantive whole for the visitor.

The other artists named, in addition to making their own work available on loan for the exhibit as agreed to with Ms. Schwab will consult and assist Ms. Schwab in the duties mentioned above.

2005 Cecil County Community College Arts Center, North East Maryland. “Nature Revisited,” sculpture by Judith Schwab and sponsored in part by the Delaware Division of the Arts.

1998 Xian Art School, Xi’an China. Double Mural Exchange between Archmere Academy, Wilmington, Delaware and the Xi’an Art School Xi’an China. Awarded Honorary Professorship from the Xi’an Art School in recognition of project leadership and scholarly research provided. It was sponsored by People to People International.

1994 Art for Peace Project, Troisk, Russia. Creative Art Center initiated and curated by artist Judith Schwab, with 6 artists (3 from Russia and 3 American). Artists created a six sided permanent Installation for peace and understanding sponsored by People to People International and the University of Delaware.

1993 Schwab’s World. Jewish Community Center Gallery Lecture / film.

1990 “Echoes of the Past: Rhythms Of The Future,” University of Delaware Convention Center at Clayton Hall. Artist Judith Schwab and poet Charles Fishman collaborate presenting painted sculpture and poetry.

1991 Central House of Art, Tblisi Republic of Georgia. Curated a two gallery show of Schwab work with Otar Chekvatadze+friends “Gestures of Friendship.” Sponsored by Pacem in Terris, and the Georgian Ministry Of Culture.
